Checkout currently accepts M-Pesa. You'll get an STK push to your phone to confirm the payment.
An order confirmation email with your receipt, and — if you sent the card to yourself — the gift card itself, ready to redeem. You can also view it any time from your account's vault.
At checkout you can enter a recipient's name, email, and a personal message. The card is delivered straight to them — you don't need to forward anything yourself.
Show the card's code or QR at the merchant, and their staff scan or enter it to apply the value to your purchase. Stored-value cards can be redeemed across multiple visits until the balance runs out; single-use cards redeem their full value in one visit.
Use /recover-card with the M-Pesa code from your purchase to look it back up — this works even if you skipped entering an email at checkout.
Unredeemed cards may qualify for a refund within 14 days of purchase. Redeemed cards can't be refunded, since the merchant has already honoured the value. Full detail is in our Refund Policy.
You receive payouts net of Zawadigital's commission (currently 10%), sent to the payout method you registered during setup — M-Pesa, card refund channel, or bank transfer.
